Akshay Kumar Starrer Battle Of Saragarhi Movie Titled As 'Kesar'

There have been scores of discussions about the upcoming movie ‘Battle of Saragarhi’ in the recent past. Earlier, it was rumoured that Karan Johar was joint producing the Akshay Kumar starrer project with Salman Khan after knowing the fact that Ajay Devgn is working on the same project. Now, the rumours are churning that there will be one more movie with the same topic of battle of saragarhi, which will star Randeep Hooda.

Regarding the one which has Salman Khan-Akshay Kumar-Karan Johar, there were rumours that the project has been shelved. Akshay took to his twitter handle  stating, "Battle of Saragarhi is happening”. On being further questioned whether Salman Khan is still bankrolling the project or not, the Airlift star stated, "That is being figured out!".

A close source revealed that this project has been titled as ‘Kesar’. On being asked whether the title has any connection with BJP, the source was quoted as saying, “The film has nothing to do with the BJP. Kesar stands for many things. It’s also a name. There is also a TV serial by the same name”. Akshay Kumar will be portraying the role of a military commander of 21 Sikh soldiers named Havaldar Ishar Singh who fought against thousands of Afghani invaders.
