Akshay Kumar Talks About Late Music Baron Gulshan Kumar And The Upcoming Biopic 'Mogul'

As it is known, Bollywood star Akshay Kumar will be portraying the role of late Gulshan Kumar, who was the founder of T-series music label. The movie will be a biopic of the late movie producer and has been titled as ‘Mogul’. Recently, there were rumours that Akshay has left the project.

On being asked about this, the Baby star swiftly denied the news, he was quoted as saying, “I had the good fortune of knowing Gulshanji well and had a close association with him right from my first film Saugandh. We both shared many things in common and come from a similar background. I am very excited to play him on screen”.

Regarding the progress of the movie, Bhushan Kumar , who is the son of the Late music baron, was quoted as saying, “'Mogul' is a very emotional project. This is a story, which will be narrated only once. Subhash Kapoor is working on the script. Once the script is finalised, we will proceed with planning and scheduling the shoot. The priority is to get the script right”.
