Akshay Kumar’s Singh is Bling sets off in Punjab

After having kept his fans waiting for a long period of time, Akshay Kumar’s Singh is Bling finally went on floors this Friday. Following the lines of his 2008 hit Singh is King, Akshay would again be seen playing a Sikh in the film.

The Khiladi Kumar came out on Twitter to share pictures of first day of the shoot and expressed gratitude.

Directed by Prabhu Deva, the film has taken off in Punjab’s Patiala and will move across different parts of globe in the coming days. While Kriti Sanon was supposed to play the lead in the project, Amy Jackson replaced her after she opted out following dates issue. Lara Dutta would also be seen playing a crucial role in the film. Promising high on entertainment quotient, Singh is Bling is slated to release on October 2^nd this year.
