Akshaye Khanna Will Replicate Lalit Modi In ‘Dishoom’?

The multi-starrer action adventure film, ‘Dishoom’, is all set to hit the big screen on July 29. The movie will feature John Abraham, Varun Dhawan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Saqib Saleem and Akshaye Khanna in key roles. According to the latest buzz, the ‘Dil Chahta Hai’ actor will play the negative lead, ‘Wagah’, inspired by Lalit Modi.

In a press conference, a journalist asked Varun and Jacqueline specifically about this rumour of Akshaye playing a role imitating Lalit Modi. This is what Junior Dhawan replied, "Looks like you have researched a lot. I don't want to reveal much since the film is just a few days away. The film is based on match fixing and bookies. All I can say is that Indian government could not get Lalit Modi back. In the film, John and I are trying to get Akshaye Khanna back to gain justice."

The Rohit Dhawan directed action comedy entertainer has instilled immense inquisitiveness in the audience. The 41-year-old actor, Akshaye Khanna, will reappear on the silver screen after 4 long years. His last movie as a lead was ‘Gali Gali Chor Hai’ in 2012.
