Ali Zafar Will Be Part Of Dear Zindagi, Confirms Gauri Shinde

After what happened with Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil post Uri attack for starring Pakistani actor Fawad Khan, speculations were rife that Gauri Shinde might consider replacing Ali Zafar from her upcoming flick Dear Zindagi. But, the 42-year-old film director has quelled all the rumours and stated that the Kill Dil actor is very well the part of the romantic drama flick. Starring Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt in the leading roles, the film is all set to hit the screens on November 25.

During a recent interview, when Gauri was asked if she is replacing Ali in Dear Zindagi, she straight away rubbished all the reports. She was quoted as saying, “Nobody is replacing anybody”. The rumours about the Pakistani actor being kicked out of the movie spread like a fire majorly because he was missing from all the teasers of the film released so far.

Rumours had been that the Force 2 actor Tahir Raj Bhasin has stepped into the shoes of Zafar. Besides this, it was also being heard that the Tere Bin Laden actor’s portions in Dear Zindagi were re-shot in Goa with Tahir. Well, now that the confirmation has come straight from the moviemaker’s mouth, you can rest gossip mongers.
