Alia Bhatt Speaks Up About Sidharth Malhotra's Dinner Date With ‘Mystery Girl’

Sidharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt, whose relationship status has been fodder for gossip mills since quite long, seemed to have hit a rough patch. Amidst break up rumours, the Brothers actor was reportedly spotted on a dinner date with a 'mystery girl' at a Bandra restaurant nearly a month ago. It was also reported that the two went to the Ek Villain actor’s pad later.

Though, Sidharth has remained tight-lipped about the same, Alia came to his rescue by saying that he never went on a date. The 23-year-old actress told a leading daily, "I also asked him casually about his dinner with a 'mystery girl' and he said ‘I didn't go for one’”. The Highway star also clarified that she doesn't have any reason to fight with her Kapoor and Sons co-star.

“I haven’t fought with Sid. I don’t have any reason to fight with him. He’ll always be a very close friend”, Alia stated.

“He has been working non-stop. I’ve known him for the longest time now. We started off together and, of late, we have been spending a lot of time together. I have developed a huge fondness for him, and he’ll always be an important part of my life”, added the 2 States actress.

Apparaently, all is well between Alia and Sidharth. The two will be next seen in Aashiqui 3.
