Alia’s Shaandaar No To Anand L Rai’s Film With SRK Will Make You Love Her

Actress Ali Bhatt shares a good bond with Shah Rukh Khan. The two even starred together in Gauri Shinde’s Dear Zindagi last year which received mixed to good reviews. We were hoping to see them together in next movie. But when Anand L. Rai approached the actress for the next with Shah Rukh Khan, she turned down the offer.

But before you think that Alia’s refusal to the offer would have hurt SRK, we have some interesting information to share with you. Alia said no but without upsetting Khan. Alia did not want to say no to Shah Rukh because she is very thankful to him for doing Dera Zindagi as his role in the movie was nothing more than a supporting role.

So, to make SRK understand why she did not accept the offer, Alia took the help of Karan Johar, who is a good friend of both the stars. Karan insisted Alia that her manager, Reshma Shetty, arrange a meeting at Shah Rukh’s bungalow, Mannat. The gang met and Alia laid her entire calendar in front of the Dilwale actor. She even asked him to either choose the dates that suit him or excuse her from the project, which made the Baadshah of Bollywood happy about her kind steps. Now that’s what we call a clever act of the Highway actress. 

Anand L Rai even approached Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif for the film but nothing worked.
