Anil Kapoor about 24 Season 2: ‘We Will Have a New Star Cast’

Anil Kapoor is gearing himself for the second season of his television production, 24, which is an adaptation of the American TV series of same name. The Television drama that started in October 2013 was loved by the audiences, not only because of its distinct concept but also for its impressive star cast, which include Shabana Azmi, Anupam Kher, Tisca Chopra, Mandira Bedi and Anil Kapoor himself. The next season of the show, will however, have a fresh cast.

Anil spoke to IANS while promoting his next film Welcome Back. At the event, he made a revelation that the next season of 24, will have fresh faces. “We will have a new star cast, a lot of new people are going to be there”, he said.

The Hindi version of 24 was a replica of the original series. When Anil Kapoor was asked about the trend of adaptations of foreign TV shows, he said, “Some people make remakes of Telugu and Tamil (films and shows), some from English… So if you find something good and exciting… today the world has become one, so globally, wherever you get a good story from, you should go ahead”.
