Anil Kapoor Wants Sidharth Malhotra, Ranveer Singh to Play Ram Lakhan

Ever since Karan Johar has declared his plans for the remake of classic film Ram Lakhan, people have been curious to know who would be playing Ram and Lakhan this time. When Anil Kapoor was asked about the same, he said, “If I was a producer, I would cast Ranveer as Lakhan. Ram would be Sidharth Malhotra because of the intensity”.

Further he thinks that Arjun Kapoor can also fit into the role perfectly, but he wants someone outside of the family to play the role, in order to avoid comparisons. He further said, “About the mimicking, both of them mimic me very well. Ranveer does my dialogues and dance movement, sab aata hai usko”.

Further the Dil Dhadakne Do fame doesn’t think that the movie was iconic and is certainly not impressed with the idea of a remake. He stated, “Yeh remake karna, is a kind of hype. I think it’s more a business proposition than a creative proposition. It is not an artistic decision”.
