Anurag Kashyap-Anand L Rai Join Hands, Expect Nothing Less Than An Epic!

There could be a treat in waiting for film goers as Anurag Kashyap is all set to collaborate with Tanu Weds Manu director, Anand L Rai. The latter said in a statement confirmed that he always wanted to work with Anurag at some point and is happy to be working with him.

“He (Kashyap) is one of my favourite directors. I always wanted to collaborate and do something. Now that we have got an opportunity, we are doing it,” Rai said. Kashyap will direct the flick for Rai under his production banner, Colour Yellow Production.  

Rai was present at an event to celebrate the achievement of Aligarh flick, he lauded the filmmaker Hansal Mehta and said, “Definitely it takes a lot of courage and these are the times where we should tell all these new stories. It’s an opening for us as filmmakers and even audience.” The Raanjhanaa filmmaker further added that most people give up on gutsy stories, but this should change and they should be encouraged.
