Anushka Sharma To Play Wrestler In Salman Khan’s Sultan

As the makers of Salman Khan’s much anticipated flick Sultan wanted to cast a big name opposite the superstar who fits perfect in the role, it took quite long to decide and rope in Anushka Sharma. As per the latest reports, the actress will be seen playing a wrestler in the flick and because she is athletic, she was sought to be the best choice. Anushka has worked with SRK and Aamir in the past, and now the audiences are even more excited to see her opposite Salman Khan.

Revealing about NH10 actress’ role, a source told DNA, “It isn’t another typical Salman film. The leading lady has a prominent role. She plays a mature woman — a wrestler. She has to look on par with Salman. For the first time, she will essay a character slightly older than her age and it’s a trademark shift from her girl-next-door kind of roles”.

Anushka is most likely to join the shoot of the flick in next three weeks. As of now, the actress is undergoing training to get into the skin of the character. “She will be undergoing a rigorous training in the sport in the coming three weeks and will join the cast on the sets post that”, added the source.
