Arjun Kapoor In Mohit Suri's 'Half Girlfriend'?

Arjun Kapoor has been roped to play Madhav Jha, a young basketball player from Bihar in Mohit Suri's forthcoming romance-drama, 'Half Girlfriend'. For the film, which is an adaptation of Chetan Bhagat's novel of the same name, Kapoor took vernacular classes for getting into the skin of the athlete. Also, he has put in a lot of effort to get into shape. He even learnt tricks, and worked on technique to score baskets from `half court."

Speaking to Mirror, Mohit reveals, "It was important to get the nuances right and for the sport to look as authentic as possible on screen. In order to achieve that, Arjun was required to become a basketball player instead of just enacting the part. He went through rigorous training for three months for which top NBA coaches were flown down from the US."

Other than Arjun, Shraddha Kapoor has also come on board for the sport’s film. She will be seen playing Arjun's love interest. However, the film revolves around how the protagonists, who belong to two different classes and backgrounds, overcome all the barriers and come together. Fans how excited are you?
