Arjun Rampal to star in a period love story to be directed by Soni Razdan

Arjun Rampal will soon be seen in a period love story to be helmed by actor turned director Soni Razdan. However, Soni will not be casting her daughter Alia Bhatt for the role instead will go for model and actor Karishma Kotak. The film is titled Love Affair.

Arjun who is currently occupied with his other commitments will start shooting for the project from March next year. For those who may not remember Karishma Kotak with ease, she was one of the contestant in Big Boss and also hosted a lot of IPL matches. The actress made her Hindi film debut earlier this year with Mr. Joe B. Carvalho. A source close to the shape up revealed, “Love Affair is a period drama which is an intense love story. The film will be widely shot in some real locations and the makers are also planning to create a special set for it. Starring Arjun Rampal and Karishma Kotak in lead, the film also has some intense scenes between Arjun and Karishma.” Soni had earlier directed the Lucky Ali starrer Nazar in 2005.
