Armaan Malik Talks About His Song 'Mechanical Sundariye' From Rajinikanth Starrer '2.0'

Bollywood’s young playback singer, composer and songwriter Armaan Malik is known to have many popular songs of Bollywood such as Bol Do Na Zara and Hua Hain Aaj Pehli Baar. The 22-year-old singer is on cloud nine after singing with A.R Rahman. The actor has sung a song of the upcoming Rajinikanth starrer ‘2.0’.

The song has been titled as ‘Mechanical Sundariye’. Regarding the song, the singer was quoted as saying, “It has a quirky, peppy, almost robotic ring to it”. Armaan also exhibited his experience on working with the music maestro A.R Rahman. He was quoted as saying, “Singing for Rahman sir is a dream come true for me. I went to his studio in Chennai to record the song and the atmosphere there was amazing. Only after I was done recording 'Mechanical Sundariye', I was told that it was for '2.0' and would be picturised on superstar Rajnikanth Sir. That was a double bonus for me”.

Regarding his experience so far, the young singer was quoted as saying, “I'd sung for Salman Bhai right at the beginning of my career there couldn't be a bigger start than that. I've sung in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Bengali . And I have also got awards for some of my regional language numbers. It's a beautiful thing because it helps me connect with all my fans, pan India. Wherever I go for concerts I can sing in their language”.
