Arshad Warsi ‘Had an Awesome Time’ Hosting Comedy Nights with Kapil

After the slip disc injury of Kapil Sharma, it was announced that the comedian will take a break from his popular show Comedy Nights with Kapil. But that doesn’t mean that the show is ending. Arshad Warsi has been roped in to replace Kapil in his absence.

The Guddu Rangeela star recently announced on Twitter that he has completed the shoot for the episode with Drishyam’s team as celebrity guests. For this episode, Ajay Devgn, Shriya Saran and Tabu were present on the board as guests. The actor said that he had “an awesome time” hosting the show.

Earlier it was announced that, four celebrities from Bollywood will be hosting one episode of the show each. Names like Karan Johar, Arjun Kapoor and Sajid Khan cropped up and it was almost final that Karan Johar will be hosting atleast one episode. It is still not confirmed if Arshad will host all the remaining episodes or 3 more celebrities will be roped in. Meanwhile, the trailer of Kapil’s debut film Kis Kisko Pyaar Karu is announced to release on August 13. This Abbas–Mustan film is scheduled to release on September 25.
