Bachchan’s Trend Brought Back by Sidharth Malhotra

Actor Sidharth Malhotra has certainly made a name for himself in the industry. Sidharth, who received Filmfare Award for best male debut in ‘Student of the Year’ (2012), is not following the usual trend of the industry, he is rather interested in sharing screen space with other male leads similar to Big B back-in-the-day when he shared screen space with Dharmendra in ‘Sholay’ and Shashi Kapoor in ‘Deewar’.

Malhotra’s learning has been on a film set where he assisted Karan Johar for the film My Name Is Khan (2010). He entered the industry on his own merit and is well known by his two commercially successful films - the romantic comedy ‘Hasee Toh Phasee’ and the thriller ‘Ek Villain’. In two of his upcoming films, namely ‘Brothers’ and ‘Kapoor & Sons’, Sidharth will be seen sharing screen with Akshay Kumar and Fawad Khan respectively.

Many movies are now being made with two male playing the leads. Moreover, actors are now not seen running away from doing these films. However, Sidharth has most of his films with two heroes. Whether, it's ‘SOTY’ with Varun Dhawan, ‘Ek Villain’ with Riteish Deshmukh.
