S.S. Rajamouli’s Baahubali is nothing short of a spectacle in Indian cinema, especially since its second installment had taken over the world with its astounding success. It has not just elevated the status of film making to a grander scale but has also taught invaluable lessons in storytelling. From incredible performances of stars like Prabhas, Rana Dagubatti, Ramya Krishna, and Anushka Shetty, to the incredible dialogues that will be ringing in our ears for a long time that is nothing about the film that is not applaud worthy.
While the on screen performances bring the characters to life, this Telugu movie garnered mass appeal thanks to the voice over artists who dubbed for the film in Hindi and kept the ferocity alive.

Sharad Kelkar – Bahubali
The actor has had a popular screen presence on Indian television on various TV shows. His voice had a lot off base and he has dubbed for a lot of Hollywood films like xXx: Return Of Xander Cage, Guardians of the Galaxy, Mad Max: Fury Road, Exodus: Gods and Kings, and X-Men: Apocalypse. He lent his voice for both Bahubali characters, Mahendra and Amendra Bahubali and aptly modulated his voice for both characters that were essayed on screen by Prabhas.
Niti Mathur and Smita Malhotra – Devsena
Anushka Shetty was incredible as both the old Devasena and the young warrior princess in both films. Niti Mathur lent her strong voice to Devsena in the first film. For the second film however, the makers hired Smita Malhotra who has also been a TV actress. They needed a modulated voice for the young Devsena and thus went in for a change. She has lent her voice for Nargis Fakhri, Elli Avram, Hazel Keech, Katrina Kaif and Sunny Leone in the past.
Manoj Pandey – Bhallaladeva
Manoj is both an actor and voice over artist and has dubbed for films like Deadpool, The Transporter, Skyfall, Lord of The Rings, and The Expandables. He sure added life to the villainous King played by Rana Daggubatti as we shivered in our seats at the command in his voice.
Samay Raj Thakkar – Kattapa
There were several shades to Kattapa’s character, from being the feisty warrior of Maheshmati to the loyal slave to the throne, Stahyaraj did a commendable job at it on screen. But behind the scene the key character was made memorable by Samay Thakkar who is a veteran in the dubbing line and had lent his voice for many Tamil and Telugu films. He has also dubbed for Hollywood films like The Avengers, Zero Dark Thirty, King Arthur, The Dark Knight Rises.
Deepak Sinha - Bijjaladeva
The cunning father of Bhallaladeva in the film, Nassar almost convinced us with his acting abilities in the film. But behind the scenes it was actor and dubbing artist Deepak Sinha who made the shrewd the character even more convincing.
Mausam – Shivagami
The queen of the Mashehmati empire, Shivagami’s authoritative word had to be the final one. For such a strong character was required a strong actor which S.S. Rajamouli found in Ramya Krishna and then found her Hindi counterpart in Mausam who is a theatre actress and a voice over artist. Well her fiery voice totally nailed the character requirements.
Tamanah Bhatia –Avantika

The actress played Avantika on screen and garnered and insane fan following for the role in 2015. Well, after having worked in a couple of Bollywood films herself, Tamanah Bhatia chose to lend her own voice to her character instead of a dubbing artist.
After a movie is made, dubbing for it is one of the most difficult tasks and these professional mailed it in totality. They are really going down in the Bahubali history for pushing the success of the film.
