Bajirao Mastani is so intense that I’m depleted: Priyanka Chopra

And now, it is time for Piggy Chops to showcase her love for her husband, as the actress has been roped the role of Kashibai in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s love saga Bajirao Mastani. Kashibai was the first wife of Baji Rao I, and has been described as highly devoted to her husband in historical books.

The period romance film is based on the love story between Maratha Peshwa Baji Rao I and his second wife Mastani, it also stars Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone in the lead roles. Talking about the movie and her character, Priyanka Chopra says that Bajirao Mastani role is one of her hardest ever. The actress took to micro-blogging site and wrote, “Didn’t even realise how tired I was till I touched my bed. Bajirao Mastani is so intense that I’m depleted! Kashi is one of my hardest parts!”
