2016 Bollywood Half-Yearly Report Card: The Biggest Flops Of The Year!
So half of 2016 is over and it's been a fairly good year for Bollywood so far. Considering most of the big-budgeted movies will release in the second half of the year, there is still a lot to look forward to.
But it's also time to assess some things of the time that has gone by.
So, on that note, here are the biggest flops in Bollywood this year:
Saala Khadoos
Shot simultaneously in Hindi and Tamil, Saala Khadoos featured Madhavan in a beefed-up look of a boxing coach who had failed in his time but ten years later becomes the coach for women’s boxing team. The much-publicised movie was praised for its acting but the film’s predictable plot undercut its impact.

Do Lafzon Ki Kahaani
Randeep Hooda is a talented actor who sometimes makes choices that fail to make much sense. Even though, he still impressed in the film but that wasn’t enough to save it from weak script and direction.

Fitoor
Arguably the biggest flop of the year so far, the film didn’t even come close to recovering its ₹70 crore budget. Adapted from the popular novel Great Expectations, the film featured popular stars Katrina Kaif, Siddharth Roy Kapur and Tabu and was shot in beautiful locations of Kashmir. But that wasn’t enough to hide the film’s slow and melodramatic approach.
