Even though 100 crore club is no longer a distant reality, it is still one of the most coveted landmarks in Bollywood these days. And perhaps the reason it has become so coveted because there are many ways to enter it, which means there are many different types of professionals who are aiming for it. Whether it is stars, production houses or directors, everybody is vying to get more 100 crore films in this increasing commercial industry.

And while most of the big-budgeted and highly anticipated films cross the barrier nowadays, there are some unlucky few who fell short by a few crore.

Akshay Kumar's comedy film failed to enter the 100 crore by a small margin. It ended up earning Rs 90.25 crore domestically.

Raajneeti

The Prakash Jha directorial is one of highest grossing Bollywood ensembles of all time but it couldn't enter the 100 crore club and ended up earning Rs 93.66 crore.

Baby

The Neeraj Pandey-Akshay Kumar collaboration has final collections of Rs 95.56 crore.

Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara

This acclaimed Zoya Akhtar movie minted Rs 90.27 crore, less than 10 crore short of the 100 crore milestone.

Welcome Back 

There was no Akshay Kumar in the second part of Welcome but it did earn a massive amount of money. Sadly, it just missed out on the 100 crore club. Final domestic earnings: Rs 96.69 crore.
