Will Shah Rukh Khan's ‘The Ring’ And Akshay Kumar’s ‘Crack’ Clash At Box Office?

Will Shah Rukh Khan's ‘The Ring’ And Akshay Kumar’s ‘Crack’ Clash At Box Office?

It seems like Shah Rukh Khan just can’t get a perfect release date for his movies. If recent reports are to be trusted, Akshay Kumar’s recently announced ‘Crack’ and the Fan actor’s ‘The Ring’ have both been scheduled to release on the occasion of Independence Day next year. On an interesting note, Shah Rukh’s ‘Chennai Express’ and Akshay’s ‘Once Upon Ay Time in Mumbai Dobaara!’ were prevented to clash at the box office back in 2013 after a few discussions.

A source was quoted as saying, "Akshay has already announced that his film with Neeraj Pandey titled Crack will release on Indeendence Day 2017. Now, Shah Rukh too wants to come up with Imtiaz Ali's next The Ring on the same holiday week”. It would indeed be interesting to watch which of the two flicks gains better reviews and mints better at the box office.

It’s no secret Shah Rukh's ambitious project ‘Raees’ initial release date was pushed to 2017 as Salman Khan’s ‘Sultan’ was scheduled to hit big screens during the same time. But even after delaying the action thriller’s release, Shah Rukh might not be able to escape the box office clash as the new release date for 'Raees' is January 26 next year and the same is set for Hrithik Roshan’s ‘Kaabil’, which will be produced by Rakesh Roshan. Rumor also has it that the Devdas actor had approached the Roshans for changing the release date of their movie. We wonder if Shah Rukh would repeat the same this time with ‘Crack’s team.
