Bombay Velvet second trailer: Raising hope for audiences

If the first theatrical trailer of Anurag Kashyap’s Bombay Velvet failed to wholly impress you, the second one might take the expectations up. The second trailer is even more impactful, comprehensible and entertaining. The trailer has virtually set the tone on track for the viewers to look up to something.

The narrative is engrossing with Karan Johar aka Kaizad Khambata driving Ranbir aka Johnny Balraj into manipulative business constrains and trying to use to generate gains. The rest of it speaks of ambition, manoeuvring, voracity, rebel and battle. Every character here has something to convey and a role to play. The visuals look engaging and the production designs have recreated the Mumbai of 60’s impressively.

It’s an implicit fact that we as an audience are looking forward to the subject as Anurag Kashyap comes onto direct his first mainstream cinematic venture. With so much of hopes rising, let’s see if Bombay Velvet is indeed an answer to what the viewers have been in waiting for. Come 15^th May!
