Box Office: Baby crosses 75 crores, Khamoshiyan survives

Out of all the new releases last Friday, Ayushmann Khurrana’s Hawaizaada was touted as the dark horse, the film unfortunately has been discarded completely. So much so, that the first weekend collections of the film are not even half of what the other release Khamoshiyan could gather up.

Hawaizaada collected around 2 crores in its opening weekend while Bhatt Camp’s Khamoshiyan garnered much more. The film collected 1.91 crores on Friday, 2.21 crores on Saturday and 2.91 crores on Sunday to take its tally over 6 crores. The genre as that of an erotic horror made the film grow better. The frontrunner this week too was Akshay Kumar starrer Baby that had a solid second weekend. The film has now gone past 75 crores and will also continue to be audience’s first choice this week.
