Box Office Collection: Guddu Rangeela, Second Hand Husband, Bezubaan Ishq

While ABCD 2 still holds a strong position at the box office, crossing the 100 crore mark;this weekend’s release, Guddu Rangeela did an average business in its opening weekend. The movie was, however, expected to do better, considering the fan following of Arshad Warsi and Ronit Roy. On Saturday and Sunday, the film minted Rs. 1.51 crores and Rs. 1.96 crores respectively. The total collection of the film for the weekend was Rs. 2.45 crores.

Dharmendra starrer Second Hand Husband also performed just above the average. The film was Gippy Grewal’s debut in Bollywood. The film minted Rs. 1.35 crores on Friday and on Saturday it earned Rs. 1.50 crores. The total collection over the weakened was Rs. 3.47 crores.

The third release of the weekend was Bezubaan Ishq, starring Mugdha Godse, Sneha Ullal and Nishant Malkani in the lead roles. The movie was neither promoted well nor does it have an appealing star cast. That is, perhaps, one of the reasons why it failed at the box office. The first day collection of the film was Rs. 12 lakhs. On Saturday the film made Rs. 12.5 lakhs. On Sunday, the film made Rs. 14 lakhs.
