Box Office: Mr X dunks down, Margarita With A Straw noticed

The box office didn’t seem to have major respite last week as one of the bigger releases in the last few weeks dipped down drastically. The film could not raise up enough money to place itself safe on the charts and pretty much disappointed.

The Emraan Hashmi starrer after having opened to a 14 crore weekend, ended up with 20 crores in its kitty by the end of week one. The weekdays collections were substantially dipping and a figure of 20 crores doesn’t justify the magnanimity of an Emraan Hashmi starrer. Even the last dud that Hashmi came up with, Raja Natwarlal earned about 26 crores in its first week. The film doesn’t look like holding up too well.

On the other hand, Kalki Koechlin starrer Margarita With A Straw was able to make its presence felt at the box office by raking in about 5 crores. Kalki Koechlin’s performance has been able to impress the audience at a very large extent. At the moment, the box office will move to the Tone of Avengers: Age Of Ultron.
