Bro-Bond bolsters as Rohit to direct Varun in Sajid Nadiadwala’s next

Bro-Bond bolsters as Rohit to direct Varun in Sajid Nadiadwala’s next

Producer and recently turned director Sajid Nadiadwala has made one of the most fancied arrangements for a film. Sajid has apparently signed Rohit Dhawan and Varun Dhawan for a project together where Rohit will direct his younger brother Varun who will apparently play the lead.

Rohit had debuted as a director in 2011 with Akshay Kumar and John Abraham starrer Desi Boyz. Though the film couldn’t really put the box office on fire, a promising talent in the making could clearly be seen in Rohit’s direction. Varun debuted a few months later in Karan Johar’s Student of the Year and since then, the wait only grew longer for the audiences to see these two Dhawan lads working in tandem. It is reported that Rohit did direct his brother in a few scenes for Main Tera Hero last year when David apparently collapsed on the sets in Bangkok. Both guys are quite promising in terms of talent and have been nurtured to excel in cinema. Rohit has assisted his father for a lot of his films and has learned the basics of filmmaking while Varun too has worked hard to learn stuff as an actor.

When contacted Sajid, he said, "Doing a film with Rohit is an emotional reunion. He had assisted his dad in two of my films, Judwaa and Mujhse Shaadi Karogi. I need one more hero. However, there will be only one heroine. I have to lock the cast by October end."  No other details about the project could be known but it surely looks as a ‘Bro-Bond’ project.
