CBI interrogated Aditya and Sooraj Pancholi in Jiah’s death case

Sooraj Pancholi, son of actor Aditya Pancholi, was lately interrogated by CBI regarding the supposed ‘suicide’ of actor Jiah Khan in 2013. It has been suspected by sources that the budding Bollywood actor will probably be called for the interrogation again. According to the sources, Aditya was also interrogated in the case by the investigating agency on May 13. 

On June 3, 2013, the body of the 25-year-old was discovered hanging at her home in Juhu. It is believed that her relationship with Sooraj wasn’t keeping well and this drove her to end her life. The late actress’ mother had reported that it wasn’t a suicide and Sooraj, who was in a relationship with Jiah, should be probed for her daughter's demise.

Addressing to the ‘gap’ in the investigation, the court moved the case to CBI. It explained that the forensic report privately received by Jiah's mother Rabia was different from those of Mumbai Police. After filing the case, CBI spokesperson Kanchan Prasad had said, “The high court has directed the CBI to consider whether this is a case of suicidal or homicidal death ".
