Confirmed! Race 3 To Go On Floors From October

A few days ago it was confirmed that actress Jacqueline Fernandez will star opposite Salman Khan in Race 3. And now we have some interesting news for all those who are on their pins and needles to get interesting details about the movie. Both Salman and Jacqueline will begin shooting for the flick from October this year.

Moreover, preparations for constructing sets in Mumbai have already started. The third part of the franchise will be directed by Remo D’Souza. It was on Salman’s insistence that TIPS’ Ramesh Taurani, the producer of the Race franchise, roped in Remo to helm the flick. The earlier two parts were helmed by the duo Abbas-Mustan.

Ramesh has said that although Salman and Jacqueline have been confirmed for the first schedule, he is yet to cast other actors. “As of now, Salman and Jacqueline have been finalised for the lead while Remo D’Souza is directing it. We are yet to lock the rest of the cast and crew. We start shooting on a set in Mumbai in October, followed by a long international schedule. We are currently figuring out the dates and foreign locations. The story is set abroad and will be completely different instead of taking off from the previous two films,” revealed Taurani.  

Ramesh has also said that Race 3 will be different from the earlier two parts. Though Salman will be a new cast in the flick, Jacqueline was seen in Race 2. This will be the second time that the Aladin actress will be paired opposite the Bajrangi Bhaijaan actor after Kick.
