Confirmed: Shah Rukh will be back as Don

The fate of the next instalment of the Don franchise was hanging nowhere but the turn of events now confirm that there will be a sequel to the SRK starrer and Don 3 will certainly happen. Don 2 had released in 2011 and the speculations of a series successor since then had been ignited.

Confirmed by producer, Ritesh Sidhwani of Excel Entertainment himself, Don 3 will shape up soon as the script is currently under preparation. Farhan Akhtar who got engrossed with his acting commitments trying to take a break from action, will apparently now take a put a hold on acting and start working on Don 3. Shahrukh Khan starrer Don released in 2006 as a remake of the 1978 Big Big’s blockbuster. The emotive craze for the film had made Farhan go for its sequel which also turned out to be a big hit. While there’s no chance of any other actor matching shoulders with King Khan in the film, Priyanka Chopra’s presence remains a secret too. According to Sidhwani, half the script has been prepared and the film will most probably go on the floors in 2016 since Shahrukh will finish up his prior commitments first.
