Couldn’t attend IPL opening ceremony, SRK makes sure not to miss opening match

At the glitzy-blitzy event that had all the starry elements to it, the Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata was grooving to the tunes of Bollywood stars. Right from Hrithik-Shahid to Farhan-Anushka, the opening ceremony was a gala event. However, someone who the audiences wanted to lay an eye on was missing. 

SRK, who has mostly been the most vocal and performing shade of the event, was nowhere to be seen. The KKR owner was conspicuously missing out with his team as well. While the reasons are best known to the actor, we hear that his name wasn’t even included in the list invited guests and performers. Even the event wasn’t contracted to be organised by Shahrukh’s company ‘Red Chillies’. Without deriving too much out of the picture, we’re sure the busy man must have had his reasons to skip the event.

Although, it is pretty much certain that he will fly down to Kolkata to attend the opening IPL match between his team KKR and the Mumbai Indians. The glamour filled cricketing event will kick off tonight and will keep the team owners and actors busy for a little while.
