Court adjourns Jiah Khan Case hearing till July 21

The hearing in model and actress Jiah Khan Suicide case was adjourned after court declared July 21 as the next hearing date. On June 3, 2013, the actress was found hanging in her Juhu residence. She had written about her relationship with Suraj Pancholi in a six-page suicide note. Suraj was remanded to police custody following allegations of threat and assault against him in the note released by her mother.

Suraj is the son of actor Aditya Pancholi and Zarina Wahab. He would soon be starting his career in Bollywood with a film titled Hero. Actor Aditya Pancholi wants the investigation to get over. He added that a SIT has been formed to probe the case. Aditya says,"An SIT has been formed. We have not been given any summons, and I want this investigation to finish as soon as possible. The SIT formed by the commissioner has not completed its investigation."

Jiah Khan made her Bollywood debut with Ram Gopal Varma’s Nishabd. She is still remembered for her role as an independent woman inGhajini. Her sudden death was a major shock for the entire Bollywood industry.
