    'Dangal’ To Be Screened For Hearing And Visually Impaired People

    To mark India’s 70th Independence Day on August 15, Zee Cinema SD will air 2016 blockbuster film ‘Dangal’ for visually impaired people. The film will be aired on television with an audio description. Not only visually impaired, but, hearing impaired will also be able to watch the flick as it will have subtitles.

    Dangal, which was directed by Nitesh Tiwari was based on a real story of a wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat who went against all odds of society and trained his daughters to become wrestlers. The film starred Aamir Khan playing the role of Mahavir Singh Phogat. Apart from Aamir, the movie also featured Sakshi Tanwar, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Zaira Wasim, Sanya Malhotra and Suhani Bhatnagar.

    A 20-minute special screening of the movie was also held at the Institution for Blind in order to give a glimpse of the film to visually impaired people. Apart from Delhi, the film will also be aired in Lucknow, Mumbai, Indore and Chandigarh. It was earlier reported that ‘Dangal’ is the only non-Hollywood film to be listed among the top 16 highest-grossing films of all time at the China box office.
