As reported earlier Fincher left the project after his loud-mouthed monetary as well as authoritative demands were not met. Fincher also opted for Christian Bale as the lead protagonist in the film though the actor was not signed. Scott Rudin is set to produce the film which has been written by Aaron Sorkin of The Social Network fame. Sources have added that the deals are not yet finalised, either with Boyle or DiCaprio. More interestingly DiCaprio has recently committed to star in Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu’s thriller The Revenant which will go on the floors this September.
