Makers of Chennai Express have confirmed that Bollywood diva Deepika Padukone will be the lead heroine in Rohit Shettys next directorial venture. While Shah Rukh Khan had been signed for the lead role long ago, many names were doing the rounds, including that of Kareena Kapoor, Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra, for the main heroines role. "Deepika is part of Chennai Express. She has been finalised," a close source said. If the reports are true then this will be the second film of the stars together after their super-hit film Om Shanti Om. The movie is all set to go on floors from the end of September and is expected to hit the theatres mid-next year.
