Deepika Padukone Was The Best Choice For It: Kriti Sanon On Deepika Padukone's Dance Number In Raabta

Both Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon have proved their acting prowess in their debut flicks. The actors, who are rumoured to be dating, will next be seen together in their upcoming flick Raabta. The makers, today, released the first look of the flick and we can’t take our eyes off the couple.

Their chemistry in the poster is beyond words and a connection between the couple can be clearly seen. The film also features Deepika Padukone, however, in a special appearance. Deepika is in the film for a masala dance number.  Rumours were rife that Kriti was not so happy to see the Piku actress in the film. Although, Kriti squashed the rumours.

She said, "It's a special dance number, which is the title track of our film. If I am offered a superb song like this in some movie, I will lap it up. In fact, I was present on the set when it was being filmed and we had a gala time. It's not a random song, it's very much a part of the narrative. Deepika was looking super hot and was the best choice for it".

Helmed by Dinesh Vijan, the film is being bankrolled jointly by  Homi Adajania, Bhushan Kumar and Dinesh Vijan. Raabta is expected to hit the theatres on June 9.
