Delly Belly director will act in ‘Bombairiya’

Akshat Verma, who directed films such as Delhi Belly and Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu, will be seen as an actor in ‘Bombairiya’. The film is going to be produced by Indo-British producer Michael Ward. The interesting part is that Akshat will essay the character of a film director. The film will also star Radhika Apte, Akshay Oberoi, Siddhant Kapoor and Ravi Kishan in prominent roles.

Akshat Verma said, “I am very excited about being a part of Bombairiya. It is a special script and the writing is unique. The irony of the journey from Delhi Belly to Bombairiya is something that I have only just registered”.

He further stated that he likes directing more than acting. He said, “I suppose it's quite special being associated with the top two cities of India. I'm not a trained actor but being on the other side of the camera has been an amazing experience”. As of now, Akshat is busy directing Anushka Sharma's upcoming film.
