Did Rajinikanth’s Kabali Steal Irrfan Khan’s Madaari Poster?

Did Rajinikanth’s Kabali Steal Irrfan Khan’s Madaari Poster?

Versatile actor Irrfan Khan recently stated that the poster of Rajinikanth’s upcoming film kabali has been stolen from the poster of his upcoming film Madaari. But Irrfan Khan remained humble and did not create an issue out of it. For him, it is not such a ‘big deal’ and he even advised the audience to go and watch both the films.

While Irrfan was promoting Madaari at a mall in Mumbai, he was asked to mention the similarities he found between the posters. To which he replied, “Even I didn’t know that. We are small filmmakers, I saw that Rajinikanthji’s film stole the poster of our film. You see his film’s poster and see our film’s poster. No big deal about it. Watch his film and watch our film, too”.

One can clearly see that the visuals shown in the posters are almost the same and the difference is just the actor’s face. Both the posters show one side of actors’ face with various buildings that are placed horizontally on their faces. Apparently, Irrfan Khan talked about the official poster of Madaari but the devoted fans of Kollywood superstar cleared the air related to kabali’s poster. They clarified that it is not the official poster, but the one made by a fan.

The 49-year-old actor also talked about his film and said, “The film is talking about you.. The film is a solid thriller, you will enjoy it. There is a message in it. People will take their message on their own”.  The Nishikant Kamat directorial also stars Jimmy Shergill, Vishesh Bansal, Tushar Dalvi and Nitesh Pandey in the main cast and will hit the theatres on July 15. While Kabali will also release on the same date, Desimartini hopes that its makers soon clarify the issue.
