Divya Khosla opines: I’ve worked hard before holding the camera for Yaariyan

Actress-turned-filmmaker Divya Khosla has made her directorial debut this year with, Yaariyan. The film gave a splendid performance at the box office and Divya’s directing skills were also appreciated. The maker said that she has worked really hard to be at the place where she is today. She gave her first appearance as an actor in Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Saathiyo. Unfortunately, the flick bombed, but her dedication for her work has made her a better artist today.

Divya said, “I worked hard to be here. I trained for two years, directed successful music videos, honed my skills, worked on my script, casting, locations, music and then 'Yaariyan' was born. If the product is right, you can make your mark. The story is always the heart of the film. Then comes the power of good storytelling. The cast needs to suit the film and not vice versa.” Divya will soon sit on the producer’s chair as well via her next, Roy where she will be co-producing the movie with Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar.
