Despite the makers of Ek Tha Tiger tried very hard to get clearance from Pak Censor Board, the Salman Khan-Katrina Kaif starrer film did not get released in Pakistan. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh confirmed the news, saying, "Breaking News: No release for Ek Tha Tiger in Pakistan." He added, "Ek Tha Tiger no release in Pakistan on Eid means loss of minimum 10 to 12 crores". In the meantime the film has broken all the records at the domestic box office after receiving the greatest opening of the Indian film history by garnering around Rs 33 crore on the very first day.
