Esha Deols wedding celebration begins with star studded sangeet ceremony

With Dhoom girl Esha Deol all set to enter into wedlock with long-time beau Bharat Takhtani on June 29, Bollywood is gearing up for another high-profile marriage after Riteish Deshmukh-Genelia D' Souzas wedding. Though the duo has decided to get married in a simple ceremony at a temple, veteran actors Hema Malini and Dharmendra will be throwing a lavish reception party on June 30. Hema has herself selected outfits and jewellery for Esha which the would-be-bride will be wearing during the four-day wedding extravaganza. The actress is set to wear a Neeta Lulla sari on marriage day and designer Rocky Ss ensemble -- a rose pink corset blouse with a mermaid-cut ghagra embellished with Swarovski crystals for reception. At her sangeet ceremony, held yesterday night at Hotel Lalit Intercontinental, Andheri, Esha sizzled in a Rocky S orange and gold lehenga choli and Bharat looked handsome in a blue velvet sherwani with gold zari work. The sangeet ceremony was attended by 200 relatives and close friends including Abhay Deol, Naseeruddin Shah, Reema and Raima Sen, Ranveer Singh, Zayed Khan Genelia DSouza and Ritesh Deshmukh, Arya Babbar, Jackky Bhagnani, Alvira Khan and Sohail Khan. Despite the presence of hundreds of guests, the couple could not take eye off from one-other. "I am madly love with him, I can't take my eyes off him," Esha said. Bharat also responded with the same warmth calling Esha his "princess for life". He added, I am looking forward to having my best life and my most wonderful life with my partner." The would-be bride brought her fianc to the dance floor "I love dancing and I managed to get Bharat to dance and he also finally agreed to dance," said Esha. All the guests wished the couple all the best. Abhay said, "I wish they live happily together and obviously it's a momentous occasion. I am very excited and happy for them." Bharats friend Sohail Khan said, "He is a Bandra boy and Esha has been a family friend. I just wish them all the best and they are a lovely couple." Unlike Sangeet which was a private affair, the reception will be a grand party and 1000 invites have been sent for the event. Step brothers Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol will also reportedly attend the marriage along with their families.
