Euphoria sends legal notice to Satyamev Jayates composer

New Delhi -- Satyamev Jayate, Amir Khans debut TV show which is gaining much support from both Bollywood fraternity and audiences for taking up social issues, has landed in copyright trouble. Rock band Euphoria has served a legal notice to Ram Sampath, the composer of the shows title track, alleging that he has lifted the song from their album Phir Dhoom. "We got to know from people's comments that Aamir Khan's show's promo is carrying the same song like ours. We also heard it and found the similarities. Following that we sent a legal notice to them. We just need a credit for our work," said Palash Sen, lead singer of the band. However, Sampath has rejected these claims, saying he is ready to face the court. "Our team is preparing a strong and fitting reply. I also request people to listen to the two songs before jumping to conclusions," Sampath said in a statement.
