Punjabi singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh who made his Pollywood debut with 'The Lion of Punjab' might have flopped at the box office but the track "Lak 28 Kudi Da' was a huge success. Dosanjh did not lose hope and his persistence and patience paid off with 'Jatt & Juliet'. The actor started from the bottom and rose to the top both in his singing and acting careers. 

Besides Punjabi cinema, Dosanjh tried his hands in Bollywood as a singer. Recently, he sang in Akshay Kumar’s ‘Singh is Bling’ but this was not the only time he sang in a Bollywood movie. He previously gave his voice to movies like 'Tere Naal Love Hogya’, ‘Yamla Pagla Deewana’ and ‘Mere Dad Ki Maruti’. This actor-singer has totally turned the face of Punjabi cinema by bringing it in the limelight. He entered Coke Studio along with Punjabi singer Gurdas Mann and their music track went on to make a record of most number of hits in a day on Youtube.
