Fan’s Loss is Brother’s Gain

Director Maneesh Sharma’s upcoming flick Fan, starring Shah Rukh Khan, has been postponed now. Karan Johar took to Twitter to announce this. The King Khan starrer flick is now slated to release in September 2016.

Karan tweeted, "Adi just called and asked me to release BROTHERS on the 14th of August, 2015 as FAN is postponed...gestures likes this make my day special...". Fan is being produced by Aditya Chopra under the banner of Yash Raj Films. If reports are to be believed, the ongoing work on the VFX effects of the film has caused the delay. Earlier, the movie was scheduled to be released on 14^th August this year.

According to media reports, Shah Rukh will play double role in this flick. The Happy New Year star will essay the role of a fan of himself in this flick. This rescheduling has made way for the release of Akshay Kumar starrer Brothers which has been produced by Karan Johar.
