Fawad Khan or Daljit Dosanjh? Udta Punjab role remains uncertain

Ever since the ouster of Ayushmann Khurrana from Abhishek Chaubey’s Udta Punjab, the uncertainty to fill in for the character hasn’t resolved yet. After Kareena denied working with Ayushmann, it was reported that Pakistani actor Fawad Khan had been roped in but the latest reports put further doubts.

According to sources, Punjabi star Daljit Dosanjh may have been approached to play the crucial role in the picture. The contradictory reports however have confirmed Fawad Khan for the same role. While Shahid Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Kareena Kapoor have been confirmed being on board, the fourth character is really testing the hard work here. The film is scheduled to go on the floors next month so the makers might as well settle soon.
