4 Actors Who Won Filmfare Award For Best Debut But It Wasn't Their First Film

If you are a Bollywood fan and you have been social media lately, the buzz of Filmfare awards must have reached you. And if you have been paying close attention, you must have seen Harshvardhan Kapoor's discontent over Diljit Dosanjh's win. 

Though the actor said a lot of things, the main point that Mirzya actor put was that the Udta Punjab star was unqualified to win the award for Best Debut, given how he is an established star in Punjabi cinema.

#1 Diljit Dosanjh

Diljit Dosanjh, who won the award for Best Debut for Udta Punjab, is the biggest star in Punjabi cinema, with several awards and box office records to his name.

#2 Fawad Khan

Although he won the Filmfare Award For Best Debut for 2014's Khoobsurat, it is worth pointing out that Fawad Khan had experience in Pakistani cinema and TV.

#3 Dhanush

Dhanush won the Best Debut award for his excellent performance in 2013's Raanjhana. But before that, he was an established star in Tamil Cinema (a fact mentioned by him in his speech). 

#4 Salman Khan

Though he debuted in 1988's Biwi Ho Toh Aisi, Salman Khan won the Best Debut award for the 1989's Maine Pyar Kiya.
