Here's What Sanjay Dutt, Farhan Akhtar Will Do In Ajay Devgn’s Production

Ever since reports of Sanjay Dutt and Farhan Akhtar coming together for Ajay Devgn’s home production came to light, fans can’t wait to get an update on what the film will be. Now, it has been revealed that Sanjay will play a ruthless Don while Farhan will play an ambitious film director. Pinkvilla has also stated that the movie is a remake of the 2014 Tamil black comedy-action-crime drama ‘Jigarthanda’.

A source shared some light on the upcoming film and said, “Ajay Devgn and the film’s co-producer Abhinav Shukla had bought the rights of the film last year”. He added, “Now Farhan has been approached to play the aspiring director and Sanjay the ruthless don. They have liked the story and concept and are now waiting for the final narration of the script by next month”.

According to the same source, initially, director Nishikant Kamat wanted to cast Ajay as the don and Arjun Kapoor in the role of the assistant director but, things did not work out. Ajay will not be a part of the cast but will serve as producer. ‘Jigarthanda’ was considered to be one of the most technically brilliant films in Kollywood. It was made on a budget of Rs. 10 crore and grossed Rs. 35 crore.
