Gabbar’s son’s book to be launched by Amitabh Bachchan

Famous Indian actor and director Amjad Khan’s son Shadaab’s book ‘Murder in Bollywood’, will be launched by Big B. The date that is finalised for the launch of book is July 14. This is going to be his second book.

An overjoyed Shadaab stated, "Initially, I was not keen on having a big launch, but my family and Penguin, which has published the book, insisted. My wife and I were walking towards Taj Lands End when I messaged Mr Bachchan asking if he would launch my book and within 10 minutes he replied saying he would love to. I am honoured that after so many years of my father passing away, Bachchan is gracious enough to do a favour for me."

Shadaab was very fond of acting and made his acting debut with the film Raja Ki Aayegi Baaraat, after which he starred in several other films also. But, unfortunately unlike his father Amjad Khan, he was unsuccessful as an actor. He even worked behind the scenes as a scriptwriter, before finally moving on to his long cherished dream of turning a novelist. Shadaab lives in Mumbai with his wife, Rumana, and is planning to make his directorial debut soon.
