Udta Punjab will have its cast do stuff they are not known for. As Shahid begun shooting for this Abhishek Chaubey directorial, the actor posted a picture of his online. The image was Shahid donning a blue color look on his hair.

Udta Punjab that deals with the growing drug issue in the state of Punjab stars Kareena Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Diljeet Dosanjh besides Shahid. With a production like Phantom and Abhishek at helm, it could pretty much be speculated that the film will not be a routine dose. While we expect a lot out of this production, Shahid seals it with sharing pictures of his unique look.

The film has been in news for a long while and has been into production for a couple of months. While the makers haven’t confirmed a release date yet, we wonder if they could be ready with the project by end of this year.
