Get ready for a ‘Bourne’ like thriller in India with ‘Baby’, says Akshay

Superstar Akshay Kumar in pursue to craft a well set promotional stage for his forthcoming film ‘Baby’ has said that their film is on the lines of famous ‘Bourne’ series. Baby, which is being directed by Neeraj Pandey of the Special 26 fame, has just wrapped up its production stage and is currently under post production.

“Baby is a beautiful film. And it has nothing to do with Hey Babby (smiles). Baby is on the lines of Bourne Identity and it is very surprising that Neeraj thought of venturing into this genre. There is a very interesting reason why the film is called Baby,” Akshay said while revealing his thoughts about the film. The film is set for a release in early 2015 and the actor says the promotional campaign will begin after a while. “Promotional strategy is a far off thought now for this film. But yes, I can tell you that the film’s trailer will be out with Action Jackson probably,” he added.

After successfully collaborating in last year’s heist film Special 26 with Neeraj Pandey and Anupam Kher, Akshay Kumar, probably believes it is the only film he has a chance to break his shackles with. While Neeraj to his credit also has films like A Wednesday, Baby would look to widen his reach as a filmmaker. Let’s look forward to the trailer coming out with Action Jackson.
