Global Box Office: Bajrangi Bhaijaan Beats Baahubali

Even before Baahubali released, the film was declared a blockbuster. Thereafter, it seemed impossible for any film to beat the numbers it minted at the box office. But certainly, Bajrangi Bhaijaan has broken all its records at the global box office.

If we look close at the 5-day collection of both the films, the Kabir Khan directorial runs ahead of Rajamouli’s Baahubali. While Baahubali minted Rs. 215 crores in 5 days worldwide, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, on the other hand, minted Rs. 220.10 crores. Therefore, the Salman Khan starrer film has sailed past Rana Daggubati’s war-based film.

Bajrangi Bhaijaan released on July 17 across 5000 screens worldwide while Baahubali released on 4200 screens across the globe. The Prabhas starrer film is doing a great business internationally, especially at the U.S. The film has become the highest grossing Telugu film ever, but couldn’t beat Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan at the global box office.
